Situated at the heart of Shanghai, this project transforms the entrance of a mixed use building into an inviting welcoming office reception space. The contrast between the strong solid white stone wall and the dynamic wavy wooden wall, makes us enter a welcoming soft balanced space where all the elements appear most properly integrated. The reception desk as well as the seat waiting area, all fit harmoniously as an integral part of the wavy curved elements coming from behind the wall. So, everything seems perfectly connected and structurally consistent. Inviting people to see the space and feel its chocolate wooden curves, breaks the monotony of a normal office.
